Lessons I’ve Learned
Our feelings sometimes get hurt unexpectedly and it does feel uneasy and bumpy. However, that doesn’t mean it’s ok to not love. Sometimes a loved one will not be what you need them to be at any given moment. It’s upsetting, it hurts, but the love is still there. The love will always be there. I think it’s our job as beings to make each other better, not disrupt the core and develop bad or hurtful feelings.
Sure go out and find a new someone (as if it will help at home). You can still develop the same feelings with that someone. There is no need to change your partner or marriage. The need is to change your attitude toward your partner or marriage. Then you can work together to see how you can satisfy the unmet needs. Each of you will then be concentrating on making the OTHER ONE happy. And that is the secret of happiness: giving rather than demanding.
