Healthy Breakfast

I hear that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  Well if that’s true, then how important is lunch and dinner?  I think all meals should be important, so I gathered some quick meals breakfast, lunch and dinner.   I like quick meals because I don’t believe in being in the kitchen cooking all day long.  Growing up as a child, Mom would have us in the kitchen from 11:00 to 3:00 sometimes.  I would get tired of chopping veggies and washing dishes.  But don’t get me wrong… I love to cook and eat! lol Hope you enjoy!  Feel free to add your quick meals.

BARLEY w/Walnuts and Maple Syrup

  • Barley with nuts and Maple Syrup
  • 3/4 cup barley, cooked
  • 1/2 cup nonfat milk
  • 10 walnuts halved
  • 1/2 tsp maple syrup

Mix all ingredients, warm in microwave, EAT!
