How to connect with God. Lessons I’ve learned. I once read in a book that said God speaks to you loud and clear. All we have to do is listen, feel, smell, touch, to know God’s presence in your life. Usually if your pondering something and your jawbone or temples hurt, it’s a nay! But……if… Continue reading Me, Jesus and CLARITY
CRUCIFIXION WAS A BRUTAL, gruesome, and highly public form of capital punishment employed by various ancient societies as a deterrent. Sometimes rulers ordered that members of rebel groups be crucified dozens at a time, with crosses lining the roads. When the Romans took control of the Mediterranean world, they perfected the science of crucifixion. The… Continue reading Thursdays Dose Of Knowledge ~ The Crucifixion Of Jesus
AFTER JESUS WAS ARRESTED in the Garden of Gethsemane, he was taken before the Sanhedrin, the supreme religious counsel that consisted of key elders in the Jewish community in Jerusalem. The Sanhedrin, which comprised both Sadducees and Pharisees, called several witnesses to give testimony against Jesus during this first phase of his trials, but Jesus… Continue reading Thursdays Dose of Knowledge ~ The Trails of Jesus

JUST IN CASE WE FORGET! 20 1-2 God spoke all these words: I am God, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of a life of slavery. 3 No other gods, only me. 4-6 No carved gods of any size, shape, or form of anything whatever, whether of things that fly or walk or… Continue reading God’s Commandments~ Exodus 20:1-17 (MSG)
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tommorow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.” RALPH WALDO… Continue reading Moving On
We are not filled with the Spirit because we feel we are, but because this is the privilege and possession of the Christian. Being filled or controlled by the Spirit is the result of walking in obedience to the Lord. This is a gift of grace and not an emotional feeling. Emotions can and will… Continue reading Is a believer supposed to be able to feel the Holy Spirit?
“When you encounter someone more able than you, think about becoming their equal. When you encounter someone less able then you, turn your thoughts inward and examine yourself.”

The more we honor ourselves by standing by our core beliefs and feelings, the more loving toward others we become. Having the heart to stand by our core requires that we peel away the layers of “he wants’, “they expect,” and “I should” in order to find the “I am,”, “I… Continue reading Are You Standing By Your Core?
When we fall fragmented, we are actually beside ourselves energetically and need to gather ourselves back together again. Have you ever felt like this? My sister and I were discussing what happens to us when we get this feeling. Some call it lazy. I call it time to be still. Our lives are often like… Continue reading Gathering Our Selves

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The fruit of the Holy Spirit refers to the nature of the Spirit revealed in the life of the believer. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is for character. Spiritual fruit is evidence of spiritual maturity. Like fruit in the natural world, it is a product which is the result of the process of life. Spiritual fruit is Christian character in both personal and social conduct and is a product of the Holy Spirit at work in your life and your response to this work. Just as fruit takes time to develop in the natural world, spiritual fruit takes time to develop. It is the product of natural growth in the life of the Spirit.
