How to connect with God. Lessons I’ve learned. I once read in a book that said God speaks to you loud and clear. All we have to do is listen, feel, smell, touch, to know God’s presence in your life. Usually if your pondering something and your jawbone or temples hurt, it’s a nay! But……if… Continue reading Me, Jesus and CLARITY
CRUCIFIXION WAS A BRUTAL, gruesome, and highly public form of capital punishment employed by various ancient societies as a deterrent. Sometimes rulers ordered that members of rebel groups be crucified dozens at a time, with crosses lining the roads. When the Romans took control of the Mediterranean world, they perfected the science of crucifixion. The… Continue reading Thursdays Dose Of Knowledge ~ The Crucifixion Of Jesus

ON PALM SUNDAY Christians annually commemorate Jesus’ last entry into Jerusalem. God’s gifts to us are not for us but for others.
Do you believe in angels? Do you believe they fly around in the sky and sprinkle you with lucky spray? lol My friends little 4-year-old girl had this story of God’s Angel to share. She is too cute! She said her angels name is Farin. Farin often sprinkles lucky spray around her when she wants treats from her parents. Her… Continue reading Welcoming Our Angels
FEW EVENTS IN JESUS’ life are remembered more frequently than the meal he shared with his closest disciples on the night when he was arrested. That meal is known by such names as the Last Supper, the Lord’s Supper, the Eucharist (thanksgiving), or communion. That last evening, however, posed concerns other than food. Jesus realized… Continue reading Thursdays Dose of Knowledge ~ The Last Supper
It doesn’t matter what your vision looks like in the natural. God is a supernatural GOD. He is not limited by your resources, by your environment, by your education, by your nationality. If you’ll have a big vision, God will not only do what you’re dreaming about, He will do more than you can ask… Continue reading Release Your Faith
Thought this was humorous…enjoy!
“The electromagnetic vibrations you send out every split second of every day are what have brought and are continuing to bring everything into your life; big or small, good or bad. Everything!”
The Garden of Eden was a place of unimaginable beauty, prepared by God specifically for humans to enjoy. It had trees that were “pleasant to the sight and good for food” (Genesis 2:9), it was watered well by four rivers, and it abounded in precious metals and stones. All of this was for the humans… Continue reading Thursdays Dose of Knowledge ~ The Tree of Knowledge
But the LORD told Samuel, “Don’t look at his appearance or how tall he is, because I have rejected him. God does not see as humans see. Humans look at outward appearances, but the LORD looks into the heart.”
38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
The LORD’S PRAYER is one of the most well known prayers. Millions of Christian believers say this prayer everyday. Not surprisingly, most English -speaking people are familiar with the words “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,” as well as other lines in Jesus’ prayer. What many people do not realize is… Continue reading Thursdays Dose of Knowledge – The Lord’s Prayer
I am sitting here wondering how I came to be so blessed. My surroundings are warm today. A new year, new hope, and new dreams. Seriously, at this very moment there is not anything pressing me or haunting me. Kids are fine, bills are paid, Mom is well, and my circle of friends are fine.… Continue reading I’m so blessed!
God works in ways that are often deemed “mysterious”—that is to say, God’s methods often leave people totally bewildered. Why would God tell Joshua and the children of Israel to march around the city of Jericho for a week (Joshua 6:1–4)? What good could possibly come from Paul and Silas being arrested and beaten without… Continue reading What does it mean that God works in mysterious ways?
We are not filled with the Spirit because we feel we are, but because this is the privilege and possession of the Christian. Being filled or controlled by the Spirit is the result of walking in obedience to the Lord. This is a gift of grace and not an emotional feeling. Emotions can and will… Continue reading Is a believer supposed to be able to feel the Holy Spirit?
Bet you didn’t know that what you think determines the direction and quality of your life, did you? Have you ever wondered why nothing around you is changing? It’s simply because you are not changing it. We are creatures of habit and nothing will ever change for us. FALSE! I accept and incorporate change in my life. I help balance and harmonize my life by not forgetting myself.
Galatians 5:22-23 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The fruit of the Holy Spirit refers to the nature of the Spirit revealed in the life of the believer. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is for character. Spiritual fruit is evidence of spiritual maturity. Like fruit in the natural world, it is a product which is the result of the process of life. Spiritual fruit is Christian character in both personal and social conduct and is a product of the Holy Spirit at work in your life and your response to this work. Just as fruit takes time to develop in the natural world, spiritual fruit takes time to develop. It is the product of natural growth in the life of the Spirit.
